Shelter House Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement is made between the Village of Sugar Grove and the individual or group reserving the Sugar Grove Veteran’s Community Park Shelter House. By signing this agreement, the renter agrees to abide by all rules and conditions outlined below.

Rental Terms and Conditions

Rental is free for Village of Sugar Grove residents. Non-residents must pay a $50 rental fee by check, money order, or credit card, payable to the Village of Sugar Grove.
All renters must complete a reservation form with the Village Fiscal Officer.
Park hours are from dawn to dusk (approximately 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM), Sunday through Saturday.
Alcohol is strictly prohibited on Village property. No intoxicated persons are permitted on the premises.
The Village of Sugar Grove assumes no liability for personal injury, accidents, or damage to persons or personal belongings during use of the shelter house.
No solicitation is permitted on park grounds.
The following are prohibited: confetti, chalk, silly string, staples, tape, tacks, or any item that may cause damage to surfaces.
Non-washable paints, dyes, or permanent substances may not be used on the premises.
All trash must be placed in the Village dumpster located near the maintenance garage.
All park-owned tables and equipment must be returned in good condition to their designated places.
Bathroom facilities must be cleaned and the door closed at the conclusion of the rental.
Any renter who fails to follow these rules shall forfeit all future rental privileges. Non-residents will also forfeit their deposit.
